TERMS OF USE AND COURSE ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT

By using tellthem.io, creating an account, or purchasing or participating in a Tell Them offering, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or services.

1. Business and Services

Light Works Group LLC offers leadership-communication education and related professional-development services under the Tell Them name, including recorded lessons, written materials, templates, practice activities, assessments, office hours, mentoring, and case consultation. The precise features, access period, schedule, price, and support included in your purchase are stated on the applicable offer page, order form, or written proposal.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized account use. One purchase permits access by one participant unless a team or organizational license expressly states otherwise.

3. Educational Purpose; Professional Responsibility

Tell Them is professional education, not legal, human-resources, medical, psychological, tax, or accounting advice. Employment decisions and workplace communications may be governed by law, collective-bargaining agreements, organizational policy, contractual duties, and facts not known to us. You remain responsible for your decisions, for obtaining appropriate professional advice, and for applying the material lawfully, ethically, and proportionately.

4. No Guarantee of Outcomes

We do not promise that every employee will agree, that every conflict can be resolved through communication, that participation will reduce stress, or that any particular financial, career, organizational, or performance result will occur. Examples and testimonials illustrate individual experiences and are not guarantees of typical or future results.

5. License and Intellectual Property

The website, course, What–What–Because™ architecture, Tell Them templates, videos, audio, journals, manuals, exercises, graphics, language, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Light Works Group LLC and are protected by intellectual-property law.

Subject to these Terms and full payment, we grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to access the purchased materials and use the tools in your own leadership and internal organizational work. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, teach, certify others in, create a competing course from, remove ownership notices from, or publicly post the materials without written permission. You may not share login credentials or upload substantial course content to public repositories or third-party artificial-intelligence systems for training, redistribution, or creation of derivative products.

6. Permitted Internal Use

You may use completed Tell Them templates, plans, and messages in the ordinary course of your own work. Unless an organizational license says otherwise, the purchase does not authorize you to distribute course manuals, teach the methodology to others as a program, or reproduce the instructional materials for a team.

7. Participant Information and Confidentiality

You are responsible for protecting confidential and personal information concerning employees, clients, organizations, and other people. De-identify cases whenever possible and do not submit information that you are not authorized to disclose. We may use de-identified themes to improve instruction, but we will not knowingly publish an identifiable participant case or testimonial without permission.

8. Assessments

Any personality, behavioral, or communication assessment offered through Tell Them is a developmental tool. It is not a clinical diagnosis and should not be used as the sole basis for hiring, firing, promotion, compensation, accommodation, discipline, or another employment decision. Assessment reports may be subject to separate provider terms.

9. Live Sessions, Community Participation, and Recordings

Live sessions and participant areas require respectful, lawful conduct. You may not harass others, disclose another participant’s confidential information, record a session without permission, solicit participants for unrelated products or services, or interfere with the service.

We may record live sessions for enrolled participants, training quality, or program administration. We will provide notice when recording occurs. By remaining in a recorded session, you consent to the capture and use of your voice, image, chat contributions, and shared content for those stated purposes. Where available, you may turn off your camera or leave the session if you do not consent.

10. Payment and Installments

You agree to pay the amount and on the schedule shown at checkout or in the written agreement. A fixed installment plan divides one purchase price into payments; it is not a month-to-month subscription and stopping participation does not cancel the remaining installments, except where the Refund and Cancellation Policy or applicable law provides otherwise. You authorize the payment processor to charge the agreed payment method. Contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] promptly if a payment method changes.

11. Refunds and Cancellation

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy incorporated into these Terms. The offer page or a signed written agreement may provide additional rights; where terms conflict, the more specific written offer or agreement controls.

12. Access, Changes, and Availability

We may make reasonable changes to curriculum, scheduling, presenters, platforms, tools, and support methods while preserving the material substance of the purchased offering. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, security, technical problems, or events beyond reasonable control.

13. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, credential sharing, unlawful or abusive behavior, infringement, confidentiality violations, or other material breach. Termination for breach does not create a refund right and does not eliminate payment obligations already incurred.

14. Third-Party Services

The services may rely on third-party platforms for payments, hosting, video, assessments, email, scheduling, or other functions. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent acts, outages, terms, or privacy practices, although we will use reasonable efforts to assist with service issues within our control.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE, COURSE, MATERIALS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS, SO PART OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIGHT WORKS GROUP LLC AND ITS OWNERS, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, EMPLOYMENT CLAIMS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PARTICULAR PURCHASE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THAT PURCHASE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Light Works Group LLC and its owners and contractors from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the services, your violation of these Terms, your infringement of another person’s rights, or information you submit without authority.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Michigan law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another jurisdiction’s consumer law must apply. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to send written notice describing the dispute and allow 30 days for good-faith informal resolution. Any court proceeding that is not required by law to be brought elsewhere will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Michigan.

19. General Terms

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights without our written consent. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, applicable offer page, and any signed written agreement constitute the agreement concerning the services.

20. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms for future use of the site or future purchases. Material changes affecting an existing purchase will not retroactively reduce the essential rights stated at the time of purchase unless required by law or agreed in writing. Questions may be sent to:
